Prime minister from Rome plans to go to Ukraine in early 2023
The Prime Minister of Italy, Giorgia Meloni, whose far-right Government supports Kiev in the conflict with Russia, said on Thursday that she wants to visit Ukraine in early 2023, reports AFP.

In late October, Giorgia Meloni, head of the post-fascist Fratelli d'Italia party, promised that Italy would remain "a reliable NATO partner" to support Ukraine against Russia. In early December, the Government approved the continuation of arms supplies to Ukraine in 2023. Giorgia Meloni's predecessor, Mario Draghi, visited Kiev in June with French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Romanian President Klaus Iohannis .
