Moldovagaz will supply more than 166 million cubic meters of gas on the left bank of the Nistru in December
This December, SA "Moldovagaz" will supply more than 166 million cubic meters of natural gas to consumers on the left bank of the Nistru and to "Moldavskaia GRES", for the purpose of producing electricity. The decision was approved during the meeting of the Commission for Emergency Situations (CSE).
According to the Government, the measure is necessary to ensure all consumers in the Republic of Moldova with energy resources, in the context in which the Russian concern "Gazprom" has reduced by approximately 56.5% the volume of natural gas delivered to our country. CSE members also intervened with some corrections to how the bills for homes disconnected from the central heating system will be compensated. Thus, starting this month, the owners of such homes will receive compensation equivalent to the degree of very high vulnerability. Moreover, the deadline for the purchase of electricity by SA "Energocom" was extended, for the period January - March 2023, based on direct negotiations.
