10 TV stations, fined by the Audiovisual Council
The Audiovisual Council fined 10 TV stations with 64 thousand lei for violating the sound level and for not presenting recordings of audiovisual programs.
These TV stations were monitored between October 27 and November 1. The audiovisual media services code provides for the equalization of the sound volume between television programs and commercial communications, so as to eliminate the discomfort created by television viewers, felt especially during the broadcast of advertising, when the volume is higher than in the case of TV programs.
