319 cases of COVID-19 and five associated deaths, reported last week
319 cases of COVID-19 and five deaths were reported in the Republic of Moldova during the past week.
At the same time, 397 citizens were immunised with the first dose, and another 224 – with the second dose of the anti-COVID-19 vaccine.
Thus, in the last seven days, approximately 3,300 vaccine doses were administered, of which only 11 were given to minors.
In total, the authorities announce that more than 1.73 million Moldovans have been immunised so far. Authorities warn that although the number of new cases of COVID-19 is not high, the major risk of infection remains.
