Nicu Popescu will make working visits to Estonia and Latvia
The deepening of the Moldovan-Estonian and Moldovan-Latvian bilateral dialogue, the European agenda and current regional issues will be addressed during the official visits, which will be undertaken by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Nicu Popescu at Tallinn and Riga.

On January 4, in Tallinn, Popescu will have meetings with his Estonian counterpart Urmas Reinsalu, with whom he will discuss the bilateral cooperation agenda, the European integration of our country, the reform process in the Republic of Moldova, but also the regional situation in the context of the unjust war of Russian Federation against Ukraine.
The work program will also include meetings with the Estonian Minister of Defense, Hanno Pevkur, the chairman of the parliamentary committee for foreign affairs of the Estonian Parliament, Andres Sutt, as well as the representatives of the International Center for Security and Defense, Indrek Kannik and Kristi Raik.
On January 5, in Riga, Nicu Popescu will talk with the Latvian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Edgars Rinkēvičs, with the vice-president of the Latvian Parliament, and with the director of the NATO Center of Excellence in Strategic Communication, Jānis Sārts.
During his visits to Tallinn and Riga, Nicu Popescu will also meet with representatives of analytical centers and local journalists.
