A plane crashed in Nepal. At least 40 people died
Several people died on Sunday when a plane which was carrying 72 passengers crashed in the western Nepal city of Pokhara. It is the worst aviation accident in the last 30 years in this country, reports Digi24 with reference to international press agencies.

According to Nepal's civil aviation authority, at least 40 people died on Sunday when a Yeti Airlines passenger plane crashed in the city of Pokhara, about 200 kilometers northwest of the Nepalese capital Kathmandu.
The ship had taken off from the capital Kathmandu heading for Pokhara. The aircraft crashed between the old and new airports in the city of Pokhara. According to the local newspaper Kathmandu Post, there were 68 passengers and four crew members on the plane, an ATR-72 model belonging to Yeti Airlines.
The information was confirmed by the spokesperson of Yeti Airlines, Sudarshan Bartaula, according to which search operations for possible survivors are underway on the spot. Ten foreign nationals were among the passengers.
