An agricultural land of 24 hectares in Lăpușna commune will be afforested by the "Moldsilva" Agency. The process will start in 2024, said the Minister of the Environment, Rodica Iordanov.
"During the discussions with Lăpușna City Hall and the Public Property Agency, it was agreed that the land with an area of 24.34 ha, used by Penitentiary No. 7, land located in the suburbs of Rusca, should be transferred from the Administration of the Public Property Agency to the Administration of the Ministry of the Environment, managed by the Agency "Moldsilva". The commission must be created for the transmission of goods, registrations at the Public Services Agency, respectively, we will come up with some more Government decisions.
We remind that the Ministry of the Environment proposed, until 2030, to expand the area of forest vegetation in the Republic of Moldova up to 15 percent.
