Six cars badly damaged in Vasile Lupu str. crash
Six cars were seriously damaged in a violent accident that happened last night on Vasile Lupu str. in Chisinau. The driver who allegedly caused the incident required medical attention but refused hospitalization.
According to the Chisinau City Police Department, an accident occurred on November 21 at approximately 1:00 AM.
Preliminary reports indicate that a 25-year-old man driving an Audi lost control of the vehicle. The car skidded onto the sidewalk, collided with five parked cars, and then crashed into a tree, overturning.
As a result of the impact, all six vehicles sustained significant damage. The driver received medical assistance at the scene but refused to be hospitalized.
The Chisinau City Police have initiated an investigation to document the case and determine the exact circumstances of the accident.
Authorities advise all road users to drive cautiously, especially at night, and to adhere to traffic rules to prevent accidents.
Patrol officers also caution that reduced visibility due to weather conditions significantly increases the risk of accidents.
Therefore, pedestrians are urged to cross streets only at designated crosswalks and to ensure the area is clear before stepping onto the road.
