Record support: Over 20,000 jobseekers employed through ANOFM in 2025, including 250 with disabilities

Over twenty thousand individuals from the Republic of Moldova secured employment this year with the assistance of the National Employment Agency (ANEF). Among them, over six thousand were previously unemployed, and 142 were citizens returning from abroad.
Of the 20,024 people placed in employment, women make up a significant share, representing 45.3% of the total.
According to data from ANOFM, the group also includes 764 unemployed day laborers or individuals employed for fixed terms of up to three months, 250 people with disabilities, and 64 members of the Roma community.
The largest share of employed individuals, at 32.8%, found work in collective, social, and personal service activities. Other sectors included agriculture at 12.3%, industry at 11.8%, trade at 11.4%, construction at 10.1%, public administration at 5.7%, education at 5.4%, healthcare and social assistance at 4.3%, and transport, storage, and communications at 1.8%.

The ANOFM (National Agency for Employment) encourages those who have not yet found a job to contact their local offices. There, individuals can receive counseling, professional guidance, and genuine support in their job search.
