Nearly 1 million lei invested to modernize the Telenești medical lab

The laboratory at the Telenești Health Center was renovated through a project funded by the National Health Insurance Company (CNAM) aimed at developing and modernizing public medical service providers. The total project cost is 971,000 lei, which includes 871,000 lei allocated by CNAM and a contribution of 100,000 lei from the medical institution.

The major renovation of the laboratory involved several tasks, including dismantling and repairing plaster and flooring, priming and painting ceilings and walls, applying tile cladding to the walls, installing ceramic tile floors, and installing doors and suspended ceilings. Additionally, work was carried out on the electrical, water supply, and sewage systems.

During a monitoring visit to assess the project's execution, representatives from CNAM confirmed that the work was completed in accordance with the applicable construction quality standards and was consistent with the acceptance reports for the completed tasks. The CNAM press release stated that no irregularities were detected in the project's implementation.

Completion of this project is expected to enhance working conditions for the institution's employees and improve the quality of medical services, according to the cited source.

This laboratory conducts over 140,000 analyses annually. The Telenești Health Center provides services to over 58,000 residents of the city of Telenești, as well as to patients from affiliated autonomous health centers.
