Turkey on alert after three unidentified drones found in a week

An unidentified drone crashed in the northwestern Turkish province of Balıkesir, local newspaper Haberler reported, citing Meduza Live. The device was found by farmers in a field in the Manyas district.
No inscriptions, symbols, or flags indicating its origin were found on the drone. The device was transported to Ankara for technical examination.
This marks the third drone discovered on Turkish territory within a week.
On December 15, the Turkish army shot down an unidentified drone over the Black Sea as it approached Turkish airspace. An F-16 fighter jet was deployed to intercept the device.
On December 19, another drone crashed in Kocaeli province, located in northwestern Turkey. According to preliminary data from the Turkish Ministry of the Interior, the aircraft was a Russian-made Orlan-10, commonly used for reconnaissance and surveillance missions, as reported by Meduza Live.
