Carols fill Chișinău on Christmas Eve in the Great National Assembly Square

The center of Chisinau was filled with the sound of carols as adults and children celebrated Christmas Eve in a fresh and vibrant style at the Great National Assembly Square, despite the chilly temperatures. Festive lights, live music, and the delightful aroma of boiled wine and sweet treats created a magical atmosphere in the square, where the cold seemed to fade away, leaving only joy and the true spirit of the holidays.

"We are here for the third year, and every time, everything is pleasant, and the musicians are excellent. Bravo!"
"Holidays bring delightful emotions and hope for something better and more beautiful. We warm up, jump, and joke around."
"We came to listen to music, enjoy the beautiful view, and celebrate the holidays. - Why did you come here? - To have a good time this evening."
"I have a child, a child with disabilities, and he barely understands everything. I want him to see other children; I came mostly for them."
Despite the low temperatures, the cold did not deter people from visiting the Christmas Market. Attendees mention that they warm up with hot drinks, tasty food, and, above all, a cheerful atmosphere.
"Cocoa, cocoa, and other dishes—everything is very delicious and helps us warm up from the inside. It's superb!"
"It's very, very cold, but we warm ourselves with love."
"It's really cold, and I'm worried about the children, but I've dressed them well and prepared for the weather."

Chisinau City Hall will host events on New Year's Eve and Christmas Eve in the traditional style.
