German authorities deployed 600 police officers to conduct coordinated raids across 12 federal states, targeting 45 locations linked to far-right youth organizations. The operation aimed to secure evidence against 36 key members of radical groups, including Jung und Stark and Letzte Verteidigungswelle.

Justice Minister Stefanie Hubig categorized right-wing extremism as Germany's primary internal security threat. She emphasized that these groups target both individuals and the democratic foundations of the state. While no arrests occurred, the operation successfully verified existing intelligence on these organizations.

Rising violent crime

The raids follow alarming data from the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA). In 2025, violent crimes motivated by right-wing extremism reached a nine-year high, with 1,598 documented cases. These statistics highlight a significant increase in aggravated assaults and systematic radicalization among younger demographics.
