Yellow alert for heavy rain this weekend; temperatures will drop

Meteorologists are forecasting a sudden change in the weather. The State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) has issued a Yellow Code warning for heavy rain, which will be in effect on Saturday and Sunday, May 9 and 10. Additionally, significant cooling is expected during this period.
Heavy rain is expected in the northern and central districts on May 9, starting at 7:00 PM and continuing until Sunday afternoon at 3:00 PM, with accumulations of up to 35 liters per square meter. Isolated rain showers may occur, accompanied by lightning and wind gusts of 15 to 18 meters per second.

The average daily air temperature is expected to decrease by 4 to 6 degrees Celsius.
In the northern part of the country, daytime temperatures will reach around 17 degrees Celsius, dropping to around 10 degrees Celsius at night.
In the central region, daytime temperatures will be about 20 degrees Celsius, with nighttime temperatures falling to 12 degrees Celsius.
In the southern part of the Republic of Moldova, daytime temperatures will be around 22 degrees Celsius, and at night they will drop to approximately 15 degrees Celsius.
