Free medical consultations at MoldMedizin & MoldDent 2026
Over 120 doctors from the Republic of Moldova and Romania will provide free medical consultations, and visitors will also have access to general blood and biochemical tests at the MoldMedizin & MoldDent 2026 exhibition. The event will take place from September 24 to 26 at Moldexpo and will bring together more than 100 companies from various countries to showcase state-of-the-art medical equipment and technologies.
According to Moldexpo Director Zinaida Popa, the exhibition is primarily dedicated to industry professionals, though admission for the general public is free.
"MoldMedizin & MoldDent is the first exhibition kicking off our exhibition season," stated Zinaida Popa during the "Bună Dimineața" program on Moldova 1. She noted that the event is designed specifically for medical professionals and operates as a B2B (business-to-professional) exhibition.
However, the Moldexpo director emphasized that the event is also open to the business community and the general public. For the first time, three halls will host conferences, roundtables, and congresses. The agenda includes the Pharmacists' Congress, the Dentists' Conference, and various thematic meetings, all part of a scientific-practical program developed in partnership with the Ministry of Health.
Business representatives will see state-of-the-art medical equipment on display. Companies from Romania, Italy, Pakistan, and Turkey are participating in the event, alongside distributors and representatives of companies from the Republic of Moldova.
"We have over 15 companies from Romania alone, which we are very pleased about. Italy, Pakistan, and Turkey are also represented, as well as distributors and representatives of companies from the Republic of Moldova," Zinaida Popa said.
One component aimed directly at the general public is the "Clinic of the Future." Visitors will have the opportunity to undergo general blood and biochemical analyses, with results provided in approximately 10 minutes. Another project announced at the exhibition is "Grija pentru Tine" ("Care for You"), through which over 120 doctors from the Republic of Moldova and Romania will provide free consultations across several medical fields. The announced specialities include paediatrics, general medicine, cardiology, and endocrinology.
Registration for consultations is available online, though the public can also wait in line and receive consultations on-site. According to Zinaida Popa, interest is already high, and online registration slots are nearly fully booked.
The exhibition will also highlight technology's role in medicine. Visitors can view new medical equipment and solutions, even if they are not specialists in the field.
"The fact that we are evolving—and have both the drive and desire to introduce technology into this process—is crucial; it streamlines operations and even reduces the time spent interacting with clients, creating new opportunities," explained Zinaida Popa.
She noted that the exhibition also aims to foster collaboration among companies, professionals, and public authorities. Moldexpo acts as a facilitator for the business community and public institutions, ensuring that meetings held during the event can lead to partnerships and, potentially, adjustments to public policy.
"We act as facilitators—we create opportunities for the business community and the private sector... to ensure their voices are heard by the authorities," stated the Moldexpo director.
A "business breakfast" meeting with private-sector representatives from the medical field is also scheduled as part of the exhibition. Zinaida Popa confirmed that the Minister of Health would be in attendance.
The Moldexpo director added that organizers vet and select participating companies—including conducting background research—to ensure a high standard among exhibitors and the equipment on display. "When our team collaborates, we also conduct research on these companies (...); the process is a bit more arduous and challenging, but that is our goal—which is why we put in the effort to identify the best ones," stated Zinaida Popa.
Admission to the MoldMedizin & MoldDent exhibition is free for all visitors.
"Everyone is welcome from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Thursday and Friday—specifically September 24 and 25. And on Saturday, the 26th, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM," Zinaida Popa said.
