Igor Grosu: "We are entering the year 2023 - a year in which we would like peace to return to the region"

The year 2022 was a complicated year, one of challenges, and in 2023 we would like peace to return to the region, "a year in which we would like no one to wake up to bomb explosions or to sit in the dark and in the cold," reads the New Year's Eve message of the President of the Parliament, Igor Grosu.

The head of the Legislature mentioned that, despite all the difficulties, "we remained united, in solidarity with our neighbour and firm in our decision to be a free, European country".

"Even if we are facing very complicated crises, we have always kept in mind and followed our commitments, for which we received your trust. In 2023 we will continue the project of rebuilding the country - a state where the law is equal for all and the institutions work in the interest of the people. We will achieve our common goal - to create a strong state that cares for its citizens. We need the help of each and every one of you to succeed. For Moldova to succeed!"

On the eve of the winter holidays, I wish you to enjoy the warmth of your loved ones, have them by your side and be healthy. In the coming year, let's stand in solidarity, stick together and keep unity in our country.

"Happy birthday, people of Moldova!", said Igor Grosu.
